No Security Holes in SSH Products
SSH Communications Security Corp wants to emphasise that the vulnerability is related to SSH1 protocol that was deprecated by SSH Communications Corp already in late 2000 and at that time all the users were informed and strongly advised to upgrade using SSH2 protocol. The new versions of SSH2 do not have the referred problem.
SSH Secure Shell products can be achieved through our online store http://commerce.ssh.com or through our distribution channels www.ssh.com/sales/enduser/.
February 26, 2002 >
According the information from Tuesday 26th of February all the attacks have happened to the sites using the old version of SSH1 protocol. The old versions should be upgraded immediately.
We also want to emphasize that by using only chargeable licenses and upgrading the products regularly into the newest versions gives the best security to the customers.
